Zematics is a business and technology consultancy serving the software industry. Zematics interdisciplinary approach and the cross-functional experience of its employees is unique and helps its clients conceive of, organize and optimize software development, marketing and sales accordingly.

As well as helping clients across the spectrum of functional areas involved in the development of world-class software, Zematics helps its clients at every level of the organization, from the CEO to individual contributors. Improvements in the software lifecycle -- from conception through business planning, requirements analysis, product specification, development, testing, marketing to selling -- require effort and coordination at all levels of an organization, and often with third-party partners as well.

Zematics was founded in May, 2000 by Mike Fine. Mike has held executive, management and individual contributor roles in the areas of product development, product management, marketing and business/corporate development. After nine years at Oracle, Mike spent another five years at several software startups before starting Zematics. Mike has experience with both traditional "license model" software development as well as the hosted / application service provider model.

It is our belief that the foundation for business, cultural and technical success is laid in the very early stages of a company, division or project. With this philosophy, we focus on bringing an interdisciplinary approach which helps ensure both our client's success as well as our own.
